Login & Register

A published guide from Survanta's public documentation.

Registering and Signing In

Overview

Survanta's public website and tenant dashboard use the same underlying identity directory, but they are separate sign-in surfaces. The website issues only the dedicated Website cookie; the dashboard uses its own application cookie and additionally checks account category, access channel, invitation state, and permissions. You need website access to submit and track commercial orders and notifications. Website access alone never grants dashboard access.

Creating a New Account

  1. Click Register or Sign Up in the website navigation.
  2. Enter your full name, email address, phone number, optional country, and password.
  3. Confirm your password and accept the terms presented by the form.
  4. Click Create Account.
  5. Check your email for an email-confirmation OTP, enter it on the confirmation page, and submit it.

Once your account is active, you can sign in and begin submitting plan requests.

Creating an Account with Google

When Continue with Google is available, select it on either the login or registration page. After Google verifies your email, enter only the remaining Website details: full name, phone number, optional country, and explicit terms acceptance. Survanta creates a passwordless Website account and returns you to the allowed Website destination. Google sign-in does not grant dashboard access.

If an existing account already uses the verified Google email but is not linked to that Google identity, Survanta does not link it automatically and does not create a duplicate. Use the account's existing sign-in method or password-reset flow instead.

Password Requirements

  • The current server configuration requires at least six characters.
  • Uppercase, lowercase, digit, and symbol requirements are not enabled in the current source, but deployed Identity configuration may change. Always follow the validation shown on the form.

Email Verification

Your account cannot sign in through the Website cookie until the email is confirmed. Registration and an attempted login for an unconfirmed eligible account send a fresh confirmation OTP. OTP validity is controlled by the configured Identity token provider; the current source does not promise a fixed 24-hour lifetime. If a code is rejected, request another code from the confirmation flow.

Signing In

  1. Click Sign In or Log In in the website navigation.
  2. Enter your registered email address and password.
  3. Click Sign In.

Alternatively, select Continue with Google when it is shown. A previously linked active account signs in without changing its account category, tenant, roles, or permissions.

After a successful sign-in, you are redirected to the allowed website return path, where you can view your commercial orders, profile, and notifications. This is not the tenant administration dashboard.

Forgot Your Password?

  1. Click Forgot Password on the sign-in page.
  2. Enter your registered email address.
  3. Submit the form. The response remains neutral whether or not an eligible account exists.
  4. Continue to the reset page and enter the OTP sent by email.
  5. Enter and confirm your new password.
  6. Submit the reset. You can then sign in with the new password.

The current website uses an OTP, not a reset link. Its lifetime comes from the configured Identity token provider; no fixed one-hour duration is promised by this flow. If the OTP is invalid or expired, repeat the request.

Staying Signed In

Your website sign-in is maintained by the secure, HTTP-only Survanta.Website.Auth cookie. Current source configures a 14-day sliding lifetime; persistence depends on the Remember me choice and cookie/browser policy. The dashboard cookie is separate and currently has its own 30-day configuration. These are deployment settings, not password-expiration promises. Always use Sign Out on a shared device.

During Google sign-in, a separate secure Survanta.Website.External cookie holds short-lived provider state. It expires after ten minutes and is removed after success, cancellation, expiry, or a terminal error. Google access and ID tokens are not stored in the Website authentication ticket.

Important Notes

  • Identity records are shared, but Website and dashboard authentication cookies and access gates are separate.
  • Signing in to the public website does not grant you access to any tenant's survey data or admin dashboard.
  • Tenant/dashboard onboarding is invitation-controlled. An eligible existing website identity may be converted for tenant access, but it still must pass the invitation, OTP, channel, tenant, seat-limit, and permission checks.
