My Account

A published guide from Survanta's public documentation.

Managing Your Account

Overview

Your website account lets you submit commercial plan requests, track their progress, receive notifications, and keep a plan-builder selection in the current browser session. Survanta uses one shared identity directory for website and dashboard identities, but the website and dashboard issue separate authentication cookies and enforce different account-category, channel, and permission gates. Signing in on one surface does not sign you in on the other or grant dashboard access.

Accessing Account Settings

Once you are signed in, click your name or profile icon in the website header and open My Profile. The current self-service profile route is /my/profile.

Display Name

Your full name identifies you on website account surfaces. To change it:

  1. Open My Profile.
  2. Locate the Full Name field.
  3. Enter your preferred name.
  4. Optionally update your phone number, country, or profile image.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Email Address

Your email address is used to sign in and receive authentication messages. It is displayed on My Profile, but the current profile service deliberately treats it as read-only and exposes no self-service change-email flow. If an address must be corrected, contact the platform team through an approved support or sales channel; do not assume that editing another profile field changes the login email.

Changing Your Password

The website currently exposes an OTP-based reset flow rather than a signed-in Change Password action:

  1. Sign out if necessary and open Forgot Password on the website sign-in page.
  2. Enter your registered email address.
  3. Continue to Reset Password and enter the OTP sent to the eligible account's email address.
  4. Enter and confirm the new password.
  5. Submit the form, then sign in again.

Password rules are controlled by the deployed Identity configuration. The current source requires at least six characters and does not require a fixed mix of uppercase, lowercase, digits, or symbols; follow the validation shown by your deployment rather than relying on an older eight-character statement.

Account Security

  • If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately.
  • Do not share your login credentials with other people.
  • Sign out when using shared or public computers.

Deleting Your Account

The current website has no self-service account-deletion action. If you wish to close your account, use an approved support channel such as Contact Sales to ask the platform team what can be done. Sending the form records an inquiry only: it does not automatically delete the identity, cancel orders, or guarantee a particular deletion workflow. Resolve open commercial orders and retain any records you need before requesting account action.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have more than one website account? The shared identity directory requires email addresses to be unique. A website identity may also be reused by an authorized tenant invitation when the current eligibility checks pass, so duplicate registration is not the way to obtain another surface. Email changes are not self-service on the current website.

Is my website account the same as a dashboard account? Not as two independent identity stores. Survanta uses a shared identity record, while website and dashboard access remain separate security surfaces with different cookies and authorization gates. A website sign-in never grants tenant data or dashboard access; dashboard onboarding still requires an eligible invitation, account category/access channel, and permissions.
