Manage Notifications — Platform Admin
Overview
Platform Admins can create and send notifications to tenant admins and tenant users. These are platform-level announcements (maintenance windows, policy updates, billing reminders) that are distinct from in-app notifications generated by tenant activity.
Types of Platform Notifications

Creating and Sending a Notification
- Open Notifications from the dashboard navigation.
- Click New Notification.
- Choose the notification type (Broadcast or Targeted).
- If Targeted, select the tenant(s) to receive it.
- Enter the notification title and body in both Arabic and English.
- Choose the delivery timing:
- Send Now: Delivers immediately.
- Schedule: Set a future date and time for delivery.
- Click Send or Schedule.
Viewing Sent Notifications
The notification history shows all sent and scheduled notifications with their:
- Title, audience, and delivery time.
- Status (Sent, Scheduled, Failed).
- Read/unread counts (where available).
Notification Delivery
Platform notifications are delivered to the dashboard notification bell for all users in the target tenant(s). Email delivery depends on notification preferences configured per tenant.
Important Notes
- Platform Admins cannot see notifications that tenants have sent to their own users — those are managed within the tenant dashboard.
- Scheduled notifications can be cancelled before the scheduled delivery time.
- Notifications are stored in the system and remain visible to recipients until they mark them as read or the notification is deleted by a Platform Admin.
